Orange-Kiwi-Apple Juice

It is getting really cold in Hong Kong these days. And to keep Miss.A, Mr. K and myself away from the cold and cough, I am trying to make sure that we get an everyday dose of Vitamin C.

While oranges are of course great sources of  VitC, Kiwis are even better. Hence, these days it is raining kiwis in mostly all my juices and smoothies.

Plus the dry ginger root powder is a super-winter-spice. I am adding it to most recipes these days – left, right, center!

Presenting a new medley of fruits to give you a glass of cold-fighting-glow-inducing tonic.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Kiwi
  • 1 Apple (Can substitute for Pear)
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Ginger Root Powder (You can buy it at most Indian Grocery stores in your city.)
  • 1 Glass water

Method:

  • Easiest recipe ever. Prepare all the fruits – wash, peel, cut etc.
  • Put everything in your  blender. Blend.
  • Drain the liquid through a fine mesh or strainer.
  • Pour it in your glass and enjoy!

Your body will thank you for this.
